GH2132 alloy, also known as A-286 or Incoloy A-286, is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy that is important in industrial applications for its excellent high-temperature strength and good corrosion resistance.
The GH2132 alloy, also known as A-286 or Incoloy A-286, consists primarily of iron (Fe), with significant proportions of nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo), and small amounts of titanium (Ti) and aluminium (Al). This special chemical ratio gives GH2132 alloy excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
GH2132 (A-286/Incoloy A-286) alloy has excellent stability and mechanical strength at elevated temperatures. It is capable of operating at temperatures up to 700°C (1300°F) for extended periods of time while maintaining good strength and toughness. This alloy also has good resistance to oxidation and corrosion, especially in sulfide-containing environments.
